These chives had good germination and grew to a reasonable size for sale as potted herbs.

A friend shared some of her seeds with us, actually more than e could use. Chuck planted the leftovers in a "secondary" garden near our garden  they came up even though that area was under a large walnut tree!!! I use the chives in everything from meatloaf to red and white sauces and my "famous" Italian wedding soup.Great flavor but not overpowering.

Growing in containers....the plants didn't seem to really like this arrangement. They have grown, but have very little flavor.
