HEIRLOOM If you’re looking for lettuce to thrive in the heat of summer, you’ve found her. Selected at University of Hawaii for impressive bolt resistance in heat, Anuenue (AH-new-ee-new-ee) is the lovely Hawaiian name for ‘rainbow’ and she is simply the most heat-tolerant lettuce we’ve found. And she’s delicious! A French Crisp type, Anuenue Lettuce’s refreshing crunch is followed by rich mineral succulence, her innermost leaves positively buttery.
