Ruby Parfait is a gloriously whimsical plant and such a joy to grow! Dozens of iridescent rose spires rise on strong 16+ inch stems ideal for both fresh and dry bouquets. Like so many flowers, the more you harvest, the more you’ll continue to harvest. The first flush of Ruby Parfait are often over three inches tall, gradually getting smaller with each successive harvest. From boutonnieres and garlic braids to autumn wreaths and winter bouquets, we can’t wait to see how you weave celosia into all season!

For bouquets, harvest celosia at peak blossom. For straight stems in dry arrangements, hang celosia upside down to dry for two weeks.

 At Fruition, we sow celosia indoors in soil blocks four weeks before final frost, transplanting out after final frost.

Organic Flamingo Plume Celosia

Direct Seed: After last frost, shallowly sow 4 seeds/foot & thin to 1/foot when first true leaves appear. Wider spacing = thicker stronger stems.

Transplant (recommended): Sow indoors ~4 weeks before final frost frost, transplanting after danger of frost has passed with 12 to 18 inches between plants.
