HEIRLOOM The sweetest onion we grow, Rossa is our favorite onion for raw salsa and guacamole but we enjoy it grilled, sauteed and indeed any way we enjoy onions. Our strain is exceptionally long storage and has 1 to 3 centers making them easier to prepare in the kitchen.

Organic Rossa di Milano Onion HEIRLOOM We first fell in love with Rossa's high shoulders, tapered heart shape and of course its rich and glorious color. But we continue to grow Rossa di Milano for its flavor. The sweetest onion we grow, Rossa is our favorite onion for raw salsa and guacamole but we enjoy it grilled, sauteed and indeed any way we enjoy onions. 5 of 5 I loved these January 5, 2019

These are great onions. I planted them with great success in central CT. This fall we moved to the Berkshires with much colder temps. I look forward to trying them again. Or, any suggestions for others that can better tolerate colder temps, higher winds, shorter growing season?
