Love Sungold? Meet Honey Drop!

Perennially our staff's favorite cherry, Honey Drop has all the rich fruit flavor we love in a gorgeous rainbow of orange, gold and salmon. Abundant and less prone to cracking compared to Sungold, Honey Drop is open-pollinated as well, without the bevy of bitter intellectual property restrictions surrounding Sungold.

Honey Drop is a very new variety, selected by Rachel and Tevis Robertson-Goldberg of Crabapple Farm in the beautiful Massachusetts Berkshires over many seasons, with their children as taste-testers! A portion of every packet sold returns to their farm to support their inspiring work, continuing to select delectable, resilient varieties for short seasons.

5 of 5 Favorite cherry tomato October 3, 2020
Reviewer: Christine from Minneapolis MN
This has been deemed my boyfriend's favorite cherry. Germinated and grew fabulously. Was more blight resistant than we expected. Our plant grew cherry sized bright orange tomatoes that were packed with a flavor I can't describe. My boyfriend says its as if nature pre-seasoned them on the plant. We've grown a lot of cherry tomatoes and this one stands out. Looking forward to planting again.

3 of 5 Weird Happening August 30, 2020
Reviewer: Melody Morrell from Brook Park, MN United States
Like one of your reviewers here already, I had the inexplicably larger and bland fruits on the two seedlings I grew in my garden. I actually planned to go back to Sungolds next year because these were not very good. Then I ate some of the fruit from the plant I started and my son grew in his garden! Wow--totally different fruit. Delightful. So, is this some irregularity in the seed? Or can there be some other cause?

3 of 5 Disappointed this year December 27, 2019
Reviewer: Allison Usavage from Spencer, NY United States
Had a great year last year with these, but this year one of the two seedlings I chose to plant seemed to be a different variety - they grew in bunches like the honeydrops, but were twice as big and far less flavorful.
