~ We love sharing what we love with people we love ~
We share hundreds of regionally adapted vegetable, flower & herb seeds for short seasons. When people ask us if we have kids, we say, ‘Yes! And great-great-great grandchildren! That grow us more than we grow them!’ We’re honored to share them with you!
Well-fed squash are so much more healthy & thus more abundant! We foliar feed our everything in our gardens all season with our organic Fish & Kelp Emulsion. Also, when we work the soil we incorporate our organic compost as well as a our organic slow-release fertilizer for them to enjoy all season. We also share organic chicken compost crumbles if you’re looking for even more vegetative fertility to gift your garden!
Nutrient-dense, compost-based potting mix is important for all seedlings, especially as they’re being potted up. We share our go-to potting mix ready to go for you (!) as well as our DIY potting mix minerals so you can make 80 quarts of your own potting mix economically. In case you’re looking, we share organic compost, too!
Though all seedlings benefit profoundly from grow lights, if you’re growing 6+ week-old seedlings like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant & onion, great grow lights or a greenhouse become critical. Though basil & zinnias are only about 4 week-old seedlings, their broad leaves are generally quite stressed without a greenhouse or grow light. We share both 17″ and 33″ grow lights, all made in the USA by our friends at Happy Leaf. You & your seedlings will enjoy it for many seasons to come!
If light is a limiting factor for you, you’re not alone! We recommend simply purchasing gorgeous organic transplants to surround you with abundance & if you’re local, we’re sharing ours each weekend through May between 10 & 2 at our Garden Store, stop on by & see you soon!
