Description
HEIRLOOM Beloved in France, we are quite smitten ourselves.
Thriving in the cool of spring and fall, we’ve been known to tuck Organic D’Avignon Radish beside tomatoes to grow in the shade, even in the heat of summer.

Organic D’Avignon Radish
Direct Seed Only: Sow early spring – mid-fall ¾-1” apart, ½” deep. Flavorful, mild & succulent roots are grown in cool of spring & fall. Spice is a sign of stress, often too much heat or too little water. Sow every 6” with carrots & parsnips so you can see & weed the row as other crops germinate. Harvest promptly at 3-4 weeks to avoid pithiness.
Sowing Date: early Spring – mid-Fall
Seed Depth: 1/2 inch
Days to Germination: 4-7
Days to Maturity: 26
Plant spacing after thinning: 1-2 inches
