Direct Sow (recommended): First sow when soil has warmed to 45F, often 4 weeks before last frost, in rows 12-18” apart. Thin to 3” between roots, enjoying both greens & small beets as you thin. Sow every 2 weeks (until 8 weeks before first frost is expected) for a continuous supply throughout the season.

Sowing Date: 4 weeks before last frost; 8 weeks before last frost
Seed Depth: 1/2 inch
Days to Germination: 5-8 days in warm soil
Days to Maturity: 57
