20 days to baby leaf harvest 45 days to full plant harvest Ocimum basilicum

We love Rosie for her deep purple leaves as well as her deep basil flavor with notes of anise. Rosie’s flavor is sweetest before her deep purple flower stalks emerge, which we love to harvest for bouquets. Rosie thrives in gardens and raised beds as well as containers. At Fruition, we often plant Genovese, Thai and Rosie basil together in a container outside our door for a gorgeously convenient go-to for every meal.
