Medicinally comparable to Arnica montana, Arnica chamissonis is less elevation-dependent and is abundant with multitudes of 8-inch flower stalks. Arnica quickly creates a thick carpet of bright green leaves and brilliant yellow flowers as an easy-to-grow perennial, so enjoy her for many years to come. Medicinally, Arnica heals inflamed injuries like none other. The infused oil, salve or tincture of its lovely yellow dried flowers, applied topically, is an effective treatment for blunt traumatic injury, strains and sprains. Arnica also increases circulation to help reduce swelling and dissipate bruising.
