Description
Organic Lilac Time Dahlia
dinner plate blooms | full size 40 to 48″ plants | Dahlia pinnata
A glorious dinner plate dahlia with rich raspberry blossoms! Lilac Time begins to flower in late July, increasing in abundance until frost. Her long, strong stems are a joy to cut and we found her full-size habit requiring less trellising than many other dahlias, though it always helps to harvest better blooms for bouquets as well as reducing powdery mildew.
To extend dahlia vase life, place freshly cut stems in 160-180 F water & allow to cool. Who knew? You do! All our organic dahlia tubers are available March 1st with shipping beginning mid-March, as soon as the weather allows.
