Her dramatic six-foot stalks lift dozens of coral-rose flowers with sweet jasmine scent blooming from the height of summer to early autumn. A stunning cut flower, tobacco lasts one week in a vase and often longer.
At Fruition, we sow tobacco indoors in soil blocks six weeks before final frost, transplanting out after final frost.

Organic Virginia Tobacco
Transplant Only: Sow indoors ~6 weeks before final frost, 2 seeds per cell NOT covered by soil (light is required for germination). Bottom water to avoid displacing seed and soil. Thin to strongest1 & harden off (reduce water & temp for 3-7 days outside) & transplant after danger of frost, 12-18″ between plants. Harvest as blossoms open for optimum vase life. Lasts 7 days as a cut flower. Trellising not necessary.
