I had great success with this variety. I grew them in my front garden bed, right below an open window. The beans grew all over the open window, which had to stay open until the first harvest! We saved three quarts worth of dried beans and have been enjoying the meaty, tender textured bean in the colds months. Recommended.

A little slow to start but very beautiful leaves and plenty of beans.

5 of 5 Vigorous, Beautiful Bean January 6, 2019

What an amazing bean this is!  I have a big of a thing for dry beans, and the Haudenosaunee Skunk Pole Bean stands out.  I mean...look at her!  All I need to do is tuck her at the base of some corn or a trellis and she shoots up and has huge and yummy yields.  Definitely recommended for folks in the Northeast.

I'd love more information about the history of this particular bean, as well, as much of the story of native seeds has been obscured, even as the seeds continue to be grown.
