Organic Jamaican Burr Gherkin Cucumber Tangy, sweet and crunchy they are best eaten between 1” and 2”. Can be eaten raw, as pickles or cooked like summer squash. Extremely productive, pest, and disease resistant. We could not keep up with harvesting them in the cool summer of 2014 and they produced all the way until the first frost from a June planting. This cucumber originated from West Africa before it was brought to Jamaica. We were given these seeds by Adaptive Seeds and are thrilled how well they produce in the Northeast!
