75 days to harvest Cucumis melo

Sweet and juicy, all year we look forward to the melt-in-your-mouth and marvelously aromatic flesh of PMR Delicious 51 Cantaloupe. We savor her every day in August and try to tuck some in the freezer for winter coconut-cantaloupe smoothies and sorbet. Developed at Cornell and introduced in 1951, Dr. Henry Munger knew early maturity and disease resistance were crucial to growing melons here in the Northeast. Indeed, years later it is Powdery Mildew resistance (PMR) that makes our consistent high yields season after season.
