Mountain Mint thrives in nearly any soil, from clay to sand and wet to dry. Her abundant yet etheric branches span about 2-3 feet tall and wide, becoming more dense as you harvest.

Planting Method: Transplant Only

When to sow: 5-6 weeks before last frost (indoors)

Seed Depth: barely cover (needs light to germinate)

Days to Germination: 7-14 at 55-70 °F

Sowing and seedling care: Sow 2 seeds per soil block/cell and thin to one. Bottom-water to avoid displaced seed. Transfer to larger pot with first true leaves. Harden off seedlings (reduce water & temp 3-7 days). Weed & water well; mulch to reduce weed & watering pressure.

Transplant Spacing: 10-12 inches Sun Needs: Full/Partial

Days to Harvest: 60; 85 days to flower

Height: 2-3 feet

Harvest: Sweetest leaf flavor is before flowering. Delicious fresh or dried.
