Truly stunning! Each white petal is bordered magenta with both single and double flowers; some blossoms are streaked magenta as well. Each upright, elegant plant has feathery, lime-green foliage reaching three to four feet tall and will blossom from July all the way to frost.

Each upright, elegant plant has feathery, lime-green foliage reaching three to four feet tall and will blossom from July all the way to frost. The long stems make Double Take a perfect cut flower as well. Butterflies love to dabble on their flowers and goldfinches love to lunch on their seeds. Double Take is, without question, one of our all-time favorites.

2 of 5 TOWERING DAINTY COLOR January 8, 2020

I direct sowed these in one pocket of the veggie garden. They grew tall & fast, not flowering until well above 3' tall. At 5' tall, the group of plants towered over other plants in the veggie garden. While beautiful up close, the flower effect was not as dramatic as other cosmos I've grown in the past. Also, they did not seem to attract the bees as well. In the end I had to cut them down to allow the other plants to flourish.

I would not recommend this for tightly planted spaces, only to add to the outer flower border.

Very low germination rate considering how easily cosmos generally grow.  I'm going too try again next year though.  I have so many other cosmos varieties I was surprised this one didn't take better.
