Organic Howden Select Pumpkin
94-100 days to harvest
Cucurbita pepo
Description
A quintessential jack o’lantern! Charismatic and large, Howden Select is earlier than other Howden strains, selected by our friends in Montana. Brilliant orange with strong handles, Howden is often 20 to 30 pounds with ambitious 10+ foot vines growing 4 to 6 glorious pumpkins per plant.
What’s in a name? John Howden selected and shared this glorious seed in the early 1970s in Massachusetts, joining the untold generations of humxns and pumpkins who have been co-adapting together for millennia in our bioregion.
