50 days to summer squash | 100 days to winter squash | Cucurbita pepo

HEIRLOOM A beloved French heirloom delectable both young as summer squash or mature as winter squash! Her flavor as summer squash is notably more sweet and nutty compared to classic zucchini with a fine, firm texture that we love on the grill. We are also impressed with the sheer abundance on each compact plant, even in containers.

Very easy growers in 5b/6a (Ohio). Produced yellow palm size squash with a mild flavor that tasted great grilled. A little more resistant to cucumber beetles than other squash in my garden, though they still go into this one too. My plant did not get as huge as some squash plants, which I liked because I have limited space in an urban garden. Would recommend!..
