Organic Mexican Gherkin Cucumber
75 days to harvest
Melothria scabra
Description
HEIRLOOM These adorable tiny cukes are also called cucamelons as well as mouse melons and indeed their delicious 1-inch fruits look exactly like miniature watermelons! Their 4′ vines abound with super crunchy fruits that sport a bright tang that grows stronger as they age. Children love to harvest and eat these marvelous fruits and their tiny, ornate leaves make harvesting easy for everyone. Organic Mexican Gherkin Cucumbers are resistant to traditional cucumber diseases (especially Powdery and Downy Mildews) so we often enjoy our first planting all the way to frost.
