Jade Green Bean

55 days to harvest Phaseolus vulgaris

We love these long & exceptionally tender green beans! Jade Green Bean is abundant & easy to grow with resistance to mosaic virus, bacterial brown spot & rust allowing her to thrive in a wide range of growing conditions, quickly adapting as our climates change.

Provider is a full-size green bean with average flavor; Tavera is a more petite French filet-style bean with exceptional flavor…and JADE is the best of both worlds, full-size with lovely tenderness and incredible flavor.

After trying so many bean varieties over the years, I can always rely on Jade to produce well and continue for weeks! Last season, due to no early hard frosts in my zone 5 central NY location, there were beans to be picked in mid October – a new record for me! The plants grow fast, are very healthy, and did I say that they produce a lot of beans? Great bean flavor and, even cooked from frozen, they are my absolute favorite. If I could grow only one variety, it would be Jade!
