Organic Salad Turnip
An unsung vegetable that is gloriously easy to grow, salad turnips are much sweeter and creamier than standard turnips, though no less crunchy! We love turnips raw in salads and slaw as well as roasted, grilled and pickled. At Fruition, we sow salad turnip seeds anytime from snowmelt in March through a few weeks before frost in early September. Savor the thinnings, they're delicious!
