Organic National Pickling Cucumber
Direct Seed (recommended): Sow 2 seeds every 2’ (thin to 1) with at least 36” between rows after last frost. Trellis for easier harvest, straighter fruits & less disease pressure.
Transplant: Sow indoors 2-3 weeks before last frost in peat pots (plant entire pot) or soil blocks to minimally disturb roots when transplanted with above spacing.
Sowing Date: Soil 70 F, late May – early June
Seed Depth: 1/2 inch
Days to Germination: 3 warm – 10 cool
Plant spacing after thinning: 3-4 feet
