Organic Semi-determinate Tomatoes
Often early and incredibly abundant, semi-determinate tomatoes generally grow only about 5' tall, like a determinate tomato, except they continue to flower after their first laden trusses mature. Semi-determinate tomatoes are a phenomenal choice for small gardens and containers! Though semi-determinate varieties are usually selected for earliness and other 'industrial' values and are thus not delicious, the seeds Fruition shares clearly buck the trends and are delectable.
At Fruition, we sow tomatoes indoors two months before final frost in early April to harden off & transplant after final frost in late May. If you have a great seed starting set-up with a great grow-light and plenty of time to tend your seedlings, feel free to start your tomatoes earlier, just keep in mind that younger, unstressed transplants are almost always more fruitful than older, more stressed transplants.
