Organic Popcorn
Homegrown popcorn is so satisfying, so much more flavorful than any you’ll ever buy. Fruition is grateful to share our beautiful, delicious organic popcorn seed for short seasons to share with you, a fabulous heirloom of the Finger Lakes. Fun and also challenging to grow in a home garden, a minimum of 20 plants sown in a block rather than a long row, allowing your ears to pollinate well. At Fruition Seeds, we sow seeds directly in the soil after final frost. We sow popcorn just once after final frost in early summer so it has plenty of time to mature delicious popcorn before frost. Also, corn is a ‘heavy feeder,’ so be sure to feed your corn with nutrient-dense fertility as well as fish emulsion for an abundant harvest.
