If we can grow sesame, you can, too! These delicious seeds are easy to grow and impressively abundant, even here in the Northeast. The striking 3 to 4 feet tall stalks of sesame tower with beautiful rose flowers reminiscent of foxglove. Sesame is tolerant of both drought & poor soils as she blossoms July through frost; her unique seed heads worthy of their own vase. At Fruition, we sow organic sesame seeds in soil blocks indoors 4 weeks before final frost to transplant after final frost.
