Easy to grow and impressively drought tolerant, millet is a joy both as food and floral inspiration. We love the vivid colors and geometry of each stalk as well as the long, tapering leaves blowing in the breeze.
Millet thrives both direct sown and transplanted; at Fruition, we sow millet into soil blocks ~4 weeks before final frost to plant out after danger of frost has passed. Their seeds are so easy to save (if the birds save you a few) and we hope that you do!
