Zea mays
Description
Delectably sweet corn specifically developed for gardeners in northern climates by our friends and mentors at Johnny’s Selected Seeds plus the genius vision of countless generations of indigenous seedkeepers. Organic Double Standard Sweet Corn has strong germination in cool soils and her vigorous 5 foot stalks mature incredibly early 7 inch ears of excellent yellow & white kernel sweet corn with a rich, traditional taste. We enjoy Double Standard raw in the field, cooked on the grill and sweet from the freezer all winter long.
All Fruition’s sweet corn varieties grow similarly sized 8″ ears, larger or smaller depending on fertility.
