Organic Ginger & Turmeric plus Fruit & Nut Trees for short seasons are now available for pre-order!
You're invited: Fruit & Nut pre-order pick up weekend will be April 27 & 28, 2024 (from 10 - 2 pm)!
Renowned for the quality of its nuts, Chinese Chestnuts are fast growing and are heavy bearers of “tree urchins” containing generally larger nuts than the American Chestnut. When mature, the Chinese Chestnut is a wider, branching tree than the American Chestnut, suitable for shade & for attaching swings. Chinese Chestnuts have shown good general resistance to Chestnut Blight, but resistance level is variable in seedlings. Fruition’s Chinese Chestnuts are 1-2 foot seedlings. And Friends, at least 2 seedlings are required to eventually produce nuts, but will also pollinate American and Japanese Chestnut species trees.
Please purchase trees & tree kits separately from non-tree items. Also on orders of 25+ trees, enjoy a 10% discount automatically applied to your cart!
✦ New for all Fruit & Nut orders: Pre-order online & pick up your trees on April 27 & 28, 2024 from 10-2 pm. It's true, while we won't be shipping any tree orders this year, please join us for tree order pick up during Fruition’s fun-filled Fruit & Nut Tree Weekend at the farm in Naples, NY!
