This was so much fun all season! From starting indoors, throughout the growing season and harvest, and to each time I open the freezer to use some of our delicious ginger it was a total success! Highly recommend!

4 of 5 Ginger December 27, 2019

It was more difficult than I had expected. The warming mat was not enough to get the hands to sprout.  I had to use a small heater ad that finally got the room temp. up .  One hand did not grow at all.  but once I got the three that survived in my tiny garden plot, they did ok.  I have about 2 pounds of ginger. I really have not used it that much and still have to try and keep it or store it somehow.  I don't think I will try this again.  It was expensive for what I got, but a good experience anyway.  Maybe in another year or two I will try again.  It was interesting.  Oh, and the woodchuck that lived in my back yard never bothered the plants. That was good.
