Earlier, you’re risking that this clove will not only begin to establish root systems, which we want, but it will grow a tall leaf if it’s more if its leaves are more than three, four inches tall. Bad news for the garlic over the winter. So yes, it’s totally chilly. I’m totally wearing a sweater and a scarf. It’s totally too early to plant your garlic. This is a public service announcement.
