And Friends, we’d love to share a few thoughts we revisit each year, reflecting on seasons past and breathing deep for the season ahead. Inspired by the generosity and genius of Seth Godin, we hope you find them as fascinating as meaningful as we do:

⭐️ What am I better at, in the last year?

⭐️ Do people trust me more than they have?

⭐️ Have I had any significant failures (aka learning opportunities), and what have I learned from them?

⭐️ What was my favorite way of being thanked?

⭐️ What was my favorite way of saying thank you?

⭐️ What grew in me, as well as my garden?

⭐️ What struggled in me, as well as my garden?

⭐️ What is the best compliment I received this year?

⭐️ Who have I helped, especially when there was no upside for me?

Have no doubt you have helped us remain buoyant and burgeoning amid the intensity of growth and grief of all our seasons, Friends. Thank you so!

If you still haven’t planted your garlic or shallots yet, a) you’re not alone and b) don’t be daunted! Here in Zone 5 we can sow garlic as late as early February and be confident she’ll grow fully in the coming season. If you’re looking for some helpful hints, here are our Six Mistakes to Avoid When Planting Garlic and enjoy the hot cocoa when you’re through, wooHooOOoooooOoooo!
