Transcript: Shallots are so easy to grow. If you love to grow garlic. You will love growing shallots. They have the same exact life cycle. you plant them in the fall, harvest them mid summer. And we have two different types. I love these Dutch Red because they’re freaking massive. And yes, compared to a standard onion. They are so sweet. They are a delicious shallot and they store more than 12 months and they’re so beautiful. We just have them in gorgeous bowl in our kitchen over the winter as well. So there are lots of things to consider. Definitely check out the griselles, the French gray type as well because having them side by side it’s so amazing to taste the difference. But there is absolutely I can’t recommend highly enough, growing and enjoying these shallots this year and for many years to come.
