Bring home seeds to sow resilience in your community as we cultivate gift culture together! After 12 years of growing regionally adapted seeds for sale, Fruition now grows hundreds of vegetable, flower and herb seeds to share as gifts. Like these seeds, we trust generosity amplifies abundance in the world. In this spirit, we invite you to practice giving and receiving seeds differently than you’ve ever experienced before. As we (un)learn mindsets of scarcity and receive the extraordinary abundance of seeds, we invite you to join our beautiful, reflective, joyful and transformative ~2 hour experience where we will laugh, play, practice the hard work of receiving beyond transaction and perhaps even shed a tear or two.

Share the Harvest: Garlic Scape U-Pick Party!
Whether you’d love 20 or 200+ garlic scapes to savor (pickles or pesto, anyone?!!), bring your family and friends to harvest them here at Fruition! We’ll gather by our Sow Seeds & Sing Songs mural at 10, walking to the west field to harvest together. Bring comfortable walking shoes, your own bag(s) to bring scapes home in as well as water to sip in the sunshine — and yes, we’ve plenty of fresh mint to tuck in your bottle!

Saving Our Seeds, Saving Ourselves: Skills & songs for fruitful futures
What if gardens grow us more than we grow them? What if seeds save us more than we save them? With reverent curiosity, let’s cultivate our seed skills both practical and cultural to nourish both our personal and collective abundance. With gardens, fields and forests as our teachers, let’s center the wisdom of seeds, our 400 million year old ancestors and mentors.
Whether you’ve saved seeds for years or dreamed for years, your questions, curiosity and dreams will be watered by hands-on practice, conversation, creative writing and song. We’ll build a foundation of seed saving knowledge, diving deep into practical botany in the gardens as we harvest seeds together and learn to winnow them using simple tools many of us already have at home. We’ll cultivate connection with the seeds of our heritage and invite seeds, as portals to possibility, to nourish and grow communities of care around us. With words, songs and silence we’ll reflect and make seed mandalas, as well! We know a more fruitful future for all is possible and Friends, we are the seeds, it takes a village and your plate is waiting ~

Saturday August 16 | 10 to 8 pm | at Fruition Seeds
Nourish: Tomato Tasting, Seed Saving & Harvest Potluck Feast
Let’s taste all kinds of tomatoes and save tomato seeds, Friends! Together we’ll harvest and then squeeze seeds from each fruit so everyone returns home with an abundance of organic tomatoes ready for salsa, sauce and many seasons to come. Bring an empty container (5 gallon buckets welcome) and bring your friends!
10 am: Join us harvesting fruit & squeezing seeds!
noon: potluck lunch
1 pm: tomato squeezing continues as other people prepare tomatoes for sauce in Fruition’s community kitchen as well as tomato dishes for our Harvest Feast. Come hungry to share as well as learn 🙂

Fruition’s Melon Celebration!
Each year we grow a small ocean of melons “just” for the seeds inside (!) so come help us savor all the fruit with friends!
Join us for an all-you-can-eat melon tasting alongside a scavenger hunt of a hands-on farm tour, designed with kids (of all ages!) in mind.
10 am: Join us for a pre-melon celebration work party social as we tend the farm together ~ and oh we love you!
noon: potluck lunch (bring your own dishes as well as dish to pass)
1 to 5 pm: savor watermelon!
