Similar to classic Genovese basil but more compact, Organic Gaeta Basil is easy to grow in gardens, raised beds and containers, their delicious leaves of Genovese abound on glossy 18″ plants. It’s hard to have too much basil in our lives, especially when they’re this beautiful!

Organic Gaeta Basil
When to Seed: Direct sow after frost; or sow indoors ~4 weeks before last frost and transplant after frost. Succession sow each month until 2 months before final frost.
Direct Seed (recommended): Sow 2 seeds/inch, rows 12-18 inches apart.
Transplant: Sow 2 seeds per cell or soil block. Thin to 1 after true leaves emerge and harden off before transplanting.
Full/Part Sun Seed Depth: 1/8 inch Days to Germination: 5-10 days at 65-75°F
Plant spacing after thinning: 8-12 inches
Days to Harvest: 45 Height: 1-2 feet
Harvest: Lasts 7 days as a cut flower
