Organic Avignon Dahlia

$15.00

6 to 8-inch blossoms | 42-50″ Full Size | Dahlia pinnata

Avignon is simply the most exquisite dahlia we’ve ever grown. She’s a sea of raspberry-striped cream petals, often several on a single stem for a breathtaking show of extravagance. Others bloom before her, but we are harvesting armfuls by late July all the way to frost. Her petals are more delicate than most so if you are attached to perfect blooms every time, grow her in your greenhouse, high tunnel or otherwise protect her tender blossoms from wind and rain.

To extend dahlia vase life, place freshly cut stems in 160-180 F water & allow to cool. Who knew? You do! All our organic dahlia tubers are available March 1st with shipping beginning mid-March, as soon as the weather allows.
