Cultivate Grace began as a single exquisite seed saved in our fields in 2014;  we’ve been increasing their tubers ever since, hoping to share these glory of these blooms with you one day — and the time has come!

Like all collarette-style dahlias, Cultivate Grace has abundant floral nectar in the dark, compelling center of each blossom, making them irresistible for countless beneficial pollinators. Neither tall nor small, Cultivate Grace is a 30 to 45 inch semi-dwarf, easily thriving without staking with long, strong stems are perfect for cutting.

To extend dahlia vase life, place freshly cut stems in 160 to 180 F water & allow to cool.

Organic Cultivate Grace Dahlia
Direct Sow: After last frost in 60F+ soil, plant tuber horizontally 4-6″ deep, 18-24′ apart with 1/2 cup of bonemeal. Water well until sprouts appear.

Transplant: 4 weeks before last frost, cover tuber horizontally in 2-3″ of damp and warm potting soil. If 12″ tall, pinch back apical buds. Transplant 6″ deep after last frost in warm soil with 1/2 cup of bonemeal per hole.

Seed Depth: bury root fully
Days to Germination: 10-20 days to sprout
Days to Maturity: mid-late summer until frost
Plant spacing: 30-36″
Height: 4-5 feet
