Organic Celery

Homegrown celery is one of our favorite vegetables of all time, so delicious and utterly unlike anything from a grocery store. Celery is quite challenging to grow in short seasons, requiring lots of water and fertility to be abundant and flavorful. At Fruition Seeds, here in Zone 5, we sow celery in mid-April (soil blocks are our go-to) and transplanted out in mid-May. Be sure to feed your organic celery with nutrient-dense compost as well as fish emulsion for an abundant harvest throughout the summer and into the fall, when flavor and tenderness are in their prime.
