5 of 5 Fun to grow January 14, 2020
Reviewer: Ann Clark from Rangeley, ME United States
It was fun to grow ginger. I’m not sure if it was my not so green thumb or if I need to improve my skills growing this crop because my ginger was very small but delicious. I’ll be back to give it another try this year.

4 of 5 Slow grower but we'll worth it January 13, 2020

After further research I will try this again under more cover to boost the temps for the whole growing season and not just for the start as I had last year. Harvested about 1.5 lb and froze it for many exciting meals in the cold season.

5 of 5 Great ginger! December 31, 2019
Reviewer: Ellie from SEYMOUR, CT United States
I am very pleased with the ginger I ordered in March.  The rhizomes were fat and full of buds, and sprouted well when following the online toutorial and tips.  I transplanted them into a trough planter and they quickly filled it with scented, tropical foliage for my hot patio.  I harvested a pint of fresh ginger plus leaves to dry and grind for tea from just 4 rhizomes!  Wonderful customer support.

4 of 5 Organic ginger December 31, 2019
Reviewer: Robin Freeman from Killingworth, CT United States
Wow, it was worth all the pampering and worry. I followed the directions and had good luck in my zone 6 garden in Connecticut. Most of what I started produced good results. I planted it in one of those recycled grow bags. I’m not sure I gave it enough water through the season, but now I have a nice stash of ginger in my freezer to use to my hearts content. Thanks Petra for turning me on to planting my own ginger!

3 of 5 Modest success December 25, 2019
Reviewer: Jerome Lerman from Carlisle, MA United States
This was my first attempt at growing ginger. I'd rate it as a modest success. The ginger was very flavorful, but not very prolific -- just a few short corms. I'll try again next year. I'll try using more of the fertilizer.
