Organic Anuenue Lettuce
35 days baby leaves | 70 days full | Lactuca sativa
HEIRLOOM If you’re looking for lettuce to thrive in the heat of summer, you’ve found her. Selected at University of Hawaii for impressive bolt resistance in heat, Anuenue (AH-new-ee-new-ee) is the lovely Hawaiian name for ‘rainbow’ and she is simply the most heat-tolerant lettuce we’ve found. And she’s delicious! A French Crisp type, her refreshing crunch is followed by rich mineral succulence, her innermost leaves positively buttery.
