Organic Padron Frying Pepper Grown by Fruition Seeds in Naples, NY HEIRLOOM Sought after to pan fry as tapas, these prolific peppers are harvested at 1"-1.5" green. Prized as a hot treat with oil and salt since the 1600's. Harvest young to avoid heat, although 1 in 20 seems to kick in with a little heat. If you let them fill out and ripen red they make great a super flavorful lacto fermented pepper relish or hot pepper jelly. The more you pick the more the plants will flower and keep your dinner plates full.
